The company's creditors are trying to find out what his financials look like as they seek to collect an arbitration award and settle a shareholder lawsuit. The deal marks a turning point for Alphabet-owned Wing, which has been operating a pilot program since 2023. Read More AI search on the rise: Perplexity has seen a 20% increase in the number of search queries on its platform, CEO Aravind Srinivas said this week. The platform served 780 million queries in May, he said, adding that his company's upcoming browser, Comet, will boost that number. Read More It's a rich AI startup's world: Anysphere, the maker of AI coding assistant Anysphere, has reportedly raised $900 million at a whopping $9.9 billion price tag. It's the company's third time raising money in less than a year, which means the company's either taking advantage of the frothy AI market, burning through cash very fast, or both. Following a slew of robotics-focused advancements in the market of late, Amazon is reportedly planning a new R&D group focusing on robotics and agentic AI. The group will be set up inside the very hardware lab behind Amazon Echo and Kindle.
